Tell us a bit about the work you do with SKILLED

I work as a critical care nurse in Intensive Care Units throughout Sydney, plus I also work as a clinical nurse educator in hospitals throughout Australia and NZ.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I gain a broad spectrum of experience through working in different ICU's. I enjoy the flexibility and freedom of the shift work I obtain through working for Nursing Australia.

Why did you decide to join SKILLED?

Nursing Australia is Australia-wide which makes it easily accessible to join. It is also easy to travel within Australia where work is available as soon as you step off the plane! Nursing Australia also provides many different job opportunities to improve your skills as a nurse.

What is the best thing about working with SKILLED?

The management and allocation staff are always pleasant even if you are having a bad day. They are always supportive and they genuinely care about any concerns/ problems you have about a shift or client you are working with.

What skills and experience have you gained while working for SKILLED?

I've had a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading Healthcare provider where they have sent me to NZ and all over Australia to do education in hospitals on IV pumps and products.

What advice would you give someone looking for a career with SKILLED?

SKILLED is a good company to work for because they are very flexible and adaptable to your needs. They are serious as an employer about accountability and responsibility for their staff's experience and safety at work. In turn, as an employee for their company, you need to return these standards of safety, accountability and responsibility.
